Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions apply in the event of a commission, as of the payment of the deposit. 

If a commission is made to Frances Bell Paintings (FBP) then the following conditions apply;

A third of the agreed amount of the commission is due to FBP upon confirmation of the commission, this will allow for sittings to be agreed, and these terms and conditions will then apply. The deposit is non-refundable.

The client will make themselves available for the duration of the sittings required to complete the commission to FBP standards, as required by FBP. In the event of corrections of the work, the commissioner must make the work available for FBP to complete alterations to FBP satisfaction. The point of completion of the work will be decided by FBP after consultaion with the client. There will be charges of costs in the case of alterations. 

The copyright of the commission will remain with FBP. This is the norm in the case of commissioned art work. FBP will non the less request consent to display any image that is a commissioned work. FBP appreciates that privacy may be important to clients. 

The commission price stated does not include the addtional expenses of completing the commission, such as studio space if the commission is being undertaken away from FBP studio, travel costs, and accommodation if necessary, couriers for the work, or a frame.

These terms and conditions apply in the case of purchased work.

The copyright remains the property of FBP at all times, in accordance with the law.

Work is non refundale after purchase.
